F-15 Eagle
LEGO® Model vs. Real
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle Air superiority fighter is awesome plane. This is my most recent fighter... I think I'm getting better at designing and building. I'm definitely paying more attention to the detail.
I took my boys to Hill Airforce Base in Utah to see the Thunderbirds. There were a couple of F-15s sitting where we could touch them and examine them up close. They were dark gray (where I got my main color from.) There are some pieces that don't come in dark gray though, so I added some black and the dark red is just to give it some life.

Mr. Sheldon is open to criticism, but get your fact straight before you get cocky. Only-two-out-of-five variants of the F-15 are single seat. |

The F-15 is undefeated in air combat, and this model is undefeated, too. This is the best commercially available. |
